RIAA Loses Again: No Legal Wins Against P2P File Sharers So Far

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has been taking a lot of people to court—basically, harassing folks in an attempt to curb file-sharing. The $220,000 verdict against Jammy Thomas got a lot of news (and probably worried a lot of folks). Russia will give Venezuela a credit for $US 1 billion, a Kremlin source said to RIA Novosti news agency. The money will give a boost to the military co-operation between the two countries.

China boasted about how its astronauts had begun their long-awaited space mission today hours before they even left the launch pad. The country’s official news agency Xinhua published an article dated September 27 – two days from now – complete with an entire dialogue between the three men aboard Shenzhou 7.

Good God this election is frakking boring! I'm turning my TV off whenever one of the party leaders comes on Newsworld because, quite frankly, they all make me want to cry - and my mood has stabilized recently and I'd kinda like to keep it that way for as long as possible. Look, I already am 99% sure of whom I'll be voting for, so I just want Oct. 14 to roll around as quickly as possible so I can put that check on my ballot and move on with my life.
